Hello, I am Nancy...

Today, I am fortunate to run a portable, online business in an industry that I'm truly passionate about, Personal and Professional Development. 

My business allows me to create the lifestyle I want with the flexibility to work my own schedule wherever I am and enjoy the people and activities in life that make me most happy.

It was not always this way. 

Throughout my career I worked in leadership roles in organizations that I was completely dedicated and committed to ensuring their success. 

The situation was the same each time, paid for 40 hours but working 50+ hours. A reasonable salary but not enough to really get ahead. Thoughts of wondering what other options were out there.  

The change that came along was not what I expected.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:  

I am grateful for having had a fulfilling thirty-year career in the not-for-profit sector and being able to make a difference each day.

I was compensated fairly but there was limited money left over at the end of the month to really get ahead or build a solid retirement fund. And as a single mother of a sweet baby girl there was not a lot of time to work a second job. 

I took a good look at my financial situation and wanted to make a change. 

But with nearing retirement age and wanting to work less and continue earning I was not sure how I was going to accomplish my goals. 

THE LEARNING THAT LED TO MY SUCCESS: 

I am a lifelong learner. Taking courses and reading books on personal and professional development, mindset, leadership and coaching. I have been fortunate to have many teachers along the way from Pema Chödrön, Brené Brown, Carol Dweck, Kristin Neff to Martin E.P. Seligman.

These practices have enriched my life, shifted my mindset and given me the tools, guidance and courage to make positive changes both in my personal and professional life.

THE BUSINESS THAT MADE THE DIFFERENCE: 

What started as a need for change developed into my joyful journey.  

I found my way to this business that I run today, working online I take my business with me wherever I go and design my work schedule around the things I love to do.
